Introduction

The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive overview of the requirements for the design, build, and implementation of a fully functional (post-origination) commercial lending solution. This system will handle the booking and management of commercial loans, both bilateral and syndicated, throughout their lifecycle.

Business Objectives

The primary objectives of this project are:

  • To develop and implement a system to book commercial loans.
  • To manage commercial loans throughout their lifecycle, from setting up a facility through repayments of drawdowns to loan facility maturity.

Project Scope

In-Scope:

  • Development of the system to book bilateral commercial loans.
  • Development of the system to book syndicated commercial loans.
  • Management of loans from facility setup through repayments and maturity.

Out-of-Scope:

  • Loan origination processes.
