The purpose of this document is to outline the system testing plan for the Commercial Loans project. The project aims to design, build, and implement a fully functional post-origination commercial lending solution. This document details the testing objectives, scope, strategy, and resources required to ensure the system meets the specified requirements.
Objectives
The objectives of the system testing are to:
- Verify that the system can book commercial loans, both bilateral and syndicated.
- Ensure the system can account for loans throughout their lifetime, from setting up a facility through repayments of drawdowns and on to loan facility maturity.
- Identify and resolve defects to ensure the system functions as intended.
Scope
The scope of the system testing includes:
- Booking commercial loans (bilateral and syndicated).
- Setting up loan facilities.
- Managing repayments of drawdowns.
- Handling loan facility maturity.
Test Strategy
The overall test strategy includes:
- Functional Testing: To verify that all functionalities work as expected.
- Performance Testing: To ensure the system performs under load.
- Security Testing: To ensure the system is secure from external threats.
